Assess First, Work Second
Before any of our three services begins, the watch is assessed. We look at the condition, identify what is needed, and explain what the work involves. This assessment is at no charge and carries no obligation to proceed.
If the scope of work turns out to be different from what the initial assessment suggested — for example, a worn component found during disassembly — we stop and discuss it before continuing. The price agreed at assessment is the price paid unless something genuinely unforeseen arises.
Our three services cover the most frequent maintenance requirements for mechanical and quartz watches: fitting and adjusting wearable elements, refreshing the appearance of the dial, and overhauling calendar or moon-phase complications.

Service 01
Strap & Bracelet Refit
Sizing, link adjustment, and fitting of leather, rubber, or metal bands, with cleaning of clasp and spring bars. We assess worn bars and replace them as needed so the watch sits securely on the wrist. A quick, careful visit for comfort and everyday wear.
What Is Included
- Assessment of current strap condition and lug width
- Sizing and link adjustment for metal bracelets
- Fitting of leather, rubber, or metal replacement band
- Clasp cleaning and mechanism check
- Spring bar inspection — replacement where worn or incorrect diameter

Dial & Hands Refinishing
Conservative refinishing of hands and minor dial cleaning to lift the look of an aged face without erasing its history. We work only where it improves legibility and stop short of altering original markings. A measured approach for cherished daily watches.

Complication Overhaul
A thorough service for calendar and moon-phase mechanisms that need precise alignment. We clean, lubricate, and recalibrate the indicators, then run a multi-day check. Returned with a record of adjustments and a coverage period on the work.

We do not over-refinish. The aim is to restore function and legibility without removing or altering what is original to the piece.

We give an honest estimate at the time of assessment. If something delays the work, we let you know rather than quietly extending the deadline.
