These terms set out the basis on which Cogveil provides watch repair and maintenance services at 219 Thanon Thalang, Talat Yai, Phuket 83000, Thailand. Reading them helps you understand what to expect and how we work together.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By bringing a timepiece to Cogveil for service, using our website to make an enquiry, or accepting a service estimate, you agree to these terms. If any part is unclear, please ask before work begins — we are happy to explain.

These terms apply to all services offered by Cogveil, including strap and bracelet refitting, dial and hands refinishing, and complication overhaul.

Prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and include applicable VAT where required. Payment is due upon collection of the timepiece, unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Prices are subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of your estimate is the price that applies to your service.

Certain services include a coverage period on the work performed, as noted in your service record. This covers faults directly related to the work carried out and does not extend to:

6. Limitation of Liability

Cogveil takes all reasonable care with items in our custody. However, our liability in the event of loss or damage caused by our negligence is limited to the fair market value of the timepiece at the time of service, as agreed between both parties or independently assessed.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of use or sentimental value, beyond this limit. Nothing in these terms limits liability in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

7. Cancellations & Changes

You may withdraw from a service at any time before work begins. Once work has started, you will be charged for the portion of the service completed, including any parts already fitted or ordered specifically for your watch.

To discuss changes to a service in progress, please contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from the use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts. We aim to resolve any disagreement through open discussion before formal steps are considered.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your service applies to that service. Material changes will be noted with a revised date at the top of this page.
